Being an empath really is special, whatever the nature of your gift(s). And this website will introduce you to the life of an empowered empath.

Wherever I teach empaths, however, most of my students start off by wishing they weren’t empaths at all. At the start of a workshop, “Take it away” could be our theme song.

That isn’t much of a song, of course. If you were born as an empath, you can do better than moan or lament. Not that I blame you for feeling badly about this sensitivity thing of yours. Personal excellence – everyone has a version of that, which is one of so many reasons to do a Skilled Empath Merge.  But when the person you’re reading is a force of nature, like James Brown…. Whoa!

I’ll be using the language of Aura Reading, even though the technique for finding the data was Skilled Empath Merge.

Here I will compare and contrast James Brown, the man, with James Brown, the performer, using regular photos.

I’ll compare a photo of him at 71 to the picture at the top of this post·

As you may notice, he is NOT performing. All the better for remembering that he has a human life, not just a life as a World Server.

AURA READING DATABANK: PHYSICAL PRESENCE, AT THE ROOT CHAKRA

Brown, the man: Even at 71, he has a unique vitality — proud, a spitfire, earthy, exceptionally quick to react, and more spiritually integrated than most.  So many people live mostly in the mind or heart, in sexuality or in spirit.  Brown was present to it all.

Brown, the performer: Electricity sizzled through him, and he knew how to take it.  As an empath, I can experience being James Brown physically, while singing. 

It’s like being inside a blender, set at high speed.  Calling him a risk taker would be an understatement.  The man knows how to risk big, then receive big, then recover. 

 Maybe he didn’t seem like the most stable performer ever seen; actually, he was remarkably stable, given all the energy that he processed.

Brown, the man: Ever the fighter, Brown demanded his due.  Bitterness was stored here, but so was hard-won circuitry about how to start over, start fresher, start badder and meaner if need be, but to never give up.

Brown, the performer: He’d concentrate hard on his human center, singing from there.  This was the secret of his keeping himself together, with the huge energy that moved through him as a performer.

AURA READING DATABANK: EMOTIONS, AT THE HEART CHAKRA

Brown, the man: Guarded, he surprised me by being intensely private, underneath the emotions put on for show when facing the public. Despite a rough life, and years of mega-celebrity, this man was capable of tenderness, even vulnerability.

Brown, the performer: His heart went out to humanity. He reached out for how people really felt, especially when in pain, to join and heal. 

Like a preacher or a mystic, James Brown was a spiritual transformer.  He didn’t need some official title, not when he could get right down into Divine energy.

AURA READING DATABANK: SPIRITUALLY, AT THE THIRD EYE CHAKRA

Brown, the man: He longed for connection to God, but didn’t feel as much of it as he wished to.  Clearly, this is the third eye of someone who has taken drugs, which open up experiences but then close up afterwards, damaging the aura in the process. 

A gift of his soul, that went undamaged, was James Brown’s intensely loving nature.  Whether his personal experiences of God were clear or not, his path was love.

Brown, the performer: A gorgeous connection was created between James, his audience, and God. 

 As the connector, James loved being in that flow of concentrated God force.  It felt like being home. 

No other experience in regular life (nor any experience on drugs) could approach this spiritual gift for performing, this feeling of rightness and simplicity.

AURA READING DATABANK: EXPRESSING SOUL THROUGH HIS HUMAN PERSONALITY, AT THE HIGH HEART CHAKRA

Brown, the man: Look here for a personal triumph in his challenging life.  Brown learned how to find human happiness — figure out what he wanted and, unapologetically, go for it.

Brown, the performer: Pure gold, when he sang.  Performance filled him with joy as nothing else ever could.

CONCLUSION

Every Skilled Empath Merge is an education for me, though auras of the famous aren’t necessarily more inspiring than those of “ordinary” people. 

James Brown’s aura was extraordinary, both the lifelong gifts of his soul and what he made of them. 

I love how he kept the tenderness, how he persevered despite life events that could have left him stuck in old troubles.

As a person, James Brown’s greatest achievement might have been what showed at his SOUL-CONNECTION CHAKRA. World-class talent was a given for this lifetime. 

But to accept himself as a human being and honor that — way to go, James Brown!
